Why are we spending stimulus funds in Montana?
The Bozeman City Commission authorized spending $49,140 in federal stimulus money on Monday to install new tennis courts at Bogert Park.
The new courts are likely to be ready in June, Parks and Cemetery Department Superintendent Thom White said.

Conservative blogs are making a big deal out of this study from the Mercatus Center at George Mason University which shows that Democratic districts have received more stimulus funds than Republican districts. At President Obama’s health care reform inevitability news conference the other day he said:
“it’s clear we are on the precipice of achievement that’s eluded Congresses, presidents for generations — an achievement that will touch the lives of nearly every American.”
As Roger Kimball points out, precipice probably isn’t what he meant:
